JL-2USB

The JL-2USB builds on our original JL-1USB with a more advanced conductor configuration designed for high-speed digital transmission. It combines two strands of our purpose-built 22G UltraWire© with two tightly twisted strands of 28G Teflon™-coated, silver-plated copper wire.

The tightly twisted pair provides controlled conductor geometry and a consistent relationship between the electric and magnetic fields surrounding the signal. Minute differences in impedance across frequencies can create sub-nanosecond timing variations, which are ultimately addressed through waveform reconstruction and reclocking in the receiving device.

The result is a more detailed and focused presentation, with greater resolution, separation, and dimensionality. Bass is articulate and controlled, the midrange is open and resolved, and high frequencies extend cleanly with a natural sense of air.

Hand-braided, treated with our proprietary liquid-nitrogen cryogenic process, and handmade in Oregon, the JL-2USB represents a significant step forward in conductor design while maintaining the same attention to materials and craftsmanship found throughout our lineup.
